Hi and welcome to J-Opolis.Com
the official personal and non-affiliated site of Justin
Mercer. Originally this site started out as a single html
page assignment for my Computer Applications class in Grade
10 at St. George's Senior High (Dildo/New Harbour, NL) and I
decided to continue on with it as a side hobby project. The
original page Awesome NHL is up and intact since its last
update back in 2000 with the new NHL expansion teams for
2000-'01. My website has undergone a lot of expansion and
formatting over the past 22 years or so, as you may know its
mostly about hockey and some other sports, as well as
general/plumbing/electrical brand names, TV series, the
province of Newfoundland & Labrador, state of Minnesota,
community of Blaketown, card games and rules. I must note
that my second HTML page is unrelated to anything I just
mention and is a dedicated/memorial to my cousin Lewis
Cooper who passed away at 19 on October 14th, 2000, once
again has remained un-changed since it was created. I am a
plumber by trade but do have some electrical training as
well, while still living in Blaketown.
My K-19 schools were: Woodland
Elementary, Woodland Jr. High, Ridgewood Jr. High, St.
George's Senior High & finally Crescent Collegiate. Also
have participated in the 3795 Whitbourne CLB for 3 years as
well as 2584 Whitbourne Army Cadet Corps for another 3
years. My post-secondary schooling was in College of the
North Atlantic (CNA) Clarenville (2001-Multimedia Internet
Development, 2010-Plumbing Advance 1), Academy Canada
(2002-'03-Plumbing & Domestic Heating), CNA Bonavista
(2005-'06-Construction & Industrial Electrical,
2013-Plumbing Advance 2, Red Seal Exam). Included on the
site is a section dedicated to my Electrical program in CNA.
Since the time Awesome NHL was
created, all pages designed and organization of the site has
been performed by Netscape Composer, FrontPage Express,
Coffee Cup HTML, Microsoft FrontPage 2003/Expression Web
(WYSIWYG HTML Editors), with all files being scanned with
Norton Security before updated/uploading to the host.
J-Opolis is a hobby of mine
about my interests in hockey, baseball, television, other
sports as well as sports media in general. Over the years my
site has been named: Justin's Web, Justin77's Domain to
finally the current one, J-Opolis, the main sports section
here is sub-branded as J-Sports while the main page is named
Sports-Central. The television section covers just a brief
listing of shows, while I have 2 sub-sites dedicated to Full
House and Dragon Ball Z (Full House Retro & Dragon Ball FX)
also as well some pages on Digimon, Pokemon, An American
Tail Movies & Series. I have just recently created page with
a list of some Video On Demand/Streaming Services available
here in Canada for those that are interested, you will
details and web-links there for each one.

Also I like
to point out that I have now a disclaimer for this
site, and the link is posted in the header above
under the date. All I ask is for one to enjoy the
site and respect it, as it seems the days of people
creating their personal html sites sharing their
interests from scratch are fading and I would love
to keep this online for others to view as well. I
hope you enjoy my site and let others know about it. Don't
forget to leave a comment on my guest book, any questions or
concerns regarding the site that you may have please send
them to my emails as listed. All comments and emails are
welcomed so don't hesitate! Please check back for updates
and info.
Thank
You, J-Opolis Creator
